Cheney admits to warcrimes on television

The waterboarding technique illustrated by former Tuol Sleng inmate Vann Nath.

I hope you have watched this video.  If you love this country you must contact your Senators and Representatives and let them know it is OK to prosecute the outgoing administration for crimes.  Dick Cheney has blatantly shown his complicity in authorizing torture and other crimes against humanity.   Our elected leaders in Congress and the White House swear an oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States when they take office.  It is obvious from the past eight years that the Bush administration thought the Constitution made a nice door mat for the White House and have been wiping their feet on it ever since.  Congress has neglected its duties to defend and protect the Constitution.

The current Congress is afraid of the political fall out and only wants a commission to find the "truth."  This borders on treason and complicity.  We the people have spoken overwhelmingly for change.  We have many things to do to set this country right and moving forward into the twenty first century.  We must not forget to protect our beloved Constitution along the way.  If we fail to prosecute and punish the actions of this administration then we set a bad precedent for future presidents.

We impeached Bill Clinton for getting a blow job outside of marriage and lying about it, yet we continue to let the Bush administration commit atrocious war crimes that undermine American credibility in the world.  Cheney has admitted to committing war crimes and yet we let him walk the streets.

The administrations justification for all of their crimes is that water boarding is not torture.  Excuse me.  We are using a technique that stimulates drowning to get information.  It was first used by the Spanish Inquisition to get supposed witches and heretics to confess that they were in league with the devil.  It was used in colonial times by the Dutch East India Trading company during a revolt on the Island of Amboyna in 1623.  After the Spanish American war, President Theodore Roosevelt ordered the court martial of an American general for using this form of torture.  The United States prosecuted Japanese officers after World War II for using similar techniques on American troops.  In Vietnam, American generals designated this technique as illegal and off limits.  The Khmer Rouge used water boarding techniques between 1975 and 1979 during their mass genocide of their people.   At the top of this article is a painting of the technique of waterboarding by the Khmer Rouge.  This painting is on display at the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum.

The United States has signed most of the international treaties banning torture, and yet we have a president and vice president who insist that it is OK.  It is time for us to help the president-elect Obama and the new congress clean up this mess.  Please contact you elected leaders and ask them to ensure that two wrongs don't make a right.  You can also speak to the incoming administration by visiting Change.gov.

We Need a Sane Energy Policy

Today Barak Obama is introducing us to his energy advisers.  I thought this would be a good time to talk about energy and where we need to go from here.  We are in a dire financial crisis right now.  We are spending hundreds of billions on foreign oil.  We are borrowing this money from countries such as China that do not necessarily have our best interest in mind.   We are buying our oil from countries that definitely do not have our best interest in mind.  In fact some of them would rather we not exist at all.

Where do we go from here.  The first step is to take responsibility and pass a sane and comprehensive energy plan.  Such a plan will have to address many issues.  We must continue to push our leaders to move forward with funding and loans for new clean energy technology.  We must get the best of the new technologies implemented.  We must fund and build a new power generation grid.  We must have a plan to retool our automobile manufacturing process so that we can build alternative energy vehicles.

When we fund the way forward to a new economy based on clean energy production and manufacturing we can create millions of new jobs.  Put this together with plans to fund community projects such as roads and bridges, and we can be on the path the economic viability once again.  We have the greatest military might in the world, but in building this organization, we forgot about infrastructure.  Our society is crumbling.  It is time for us to rebuild it.  It will take time, and it will be rough road for awhile, but when we emerge from this trial, we will be the better for it.

Please join me in keeping the needs of the people in front of our leaders.  Please visit contact elected leaders.  Also visit Change.gov to stay involved in the process with President-elect Barak Obama.

The Power Of Change.

Quite often we here about bringing change when discussing politics.   Many a politician has staked an election on it.  What tends to get lost is that change is inevitable.  The world is always changing from one moment to the next.  This is true of nature and of all things human.  So we must always ask ourselves is this the change we really want.

Barak Obama has come to office on a huge wave of change promises.  It is up to us to help shape his change.  He took his message to the average American and we financed his campaign and brought him to power.  Now we must support him in his efforts to clean up Washington, and rebuild this country.  It is time for we the people to kick the lobbyist out of Washington, and require that our elected officials do their jobs.

Decisions and actions create consequences that then require new choices and actions.  As we stand on the shoulders of those who have gone before us and their decisions and actions, we now at this very moment have the ability to shape the future for later generations.  How do we consider the consequences of change that will ripple through generations.

We are at a fork in the path of human evolution right at this moment.  We started this journey by using rocks as tools.  Our tools have gotten bigger and insanely more complex.  Gutenberg with his printing press revolutionized the world.  Al Gore, with his Internet* has given us the opportunity to talk loudly to our government.  We can direct our future.  It is time to require our "leaders," to lead.

Barak Obama has already brought some transparency to his administration and asked the American people to participate in his policy discussions at Change.Gov.  Please get involved.  It leads to a brighter future for this country.

Bah Humbug!

Well here it is the weekend after Thanksgiving.  I hope all had a wonderful day of thanks.  Next up the big Christmas/New Year combo.  I hope none have assumed from the title that I am anti- holiday.  Quite the opposite.  Everything I am against at this time of year is the subject of the rest of this article.

First up, the O'Reillycons can keep the Christ wherever they like.  They can keep him in Christmas.  They can keep him in the cupboard if they want.  For all I care they can keep him in their hearts.  It is their choice.  All I ask is that I be left in peace to celebrate with my gods, and family as I see fit.

Second, give up the mass lunacy that is Black Friday.  BF '08: Three dead.  Two men killed each other by gunfire in a Toys R Us, in Palm Desert California.  A part time employee at a New York Walmart was crushed against a door in a stampede.  This is sheer insanity.

Third, to the electricity hogs with the light pollution emanating from your house, please rethink your insanity.  I urge you to go solar.  Many spend tens of thousands of dollars just on the power bill each December, just to out-glow the moon.  For what one spends for a month on electricity you can buy a solar set up for your lights, and use it to supplement your home the rest of the year.  I throw out a thanks to those who do use their displays to raise money for charity, with a few raising over a hundred thousand a year for their charities.

Next up is the Christmas in public dispute.  This comes down to the simple idea that everybody wants their symbol religious or otherwise, to be the most prominent.  Have you ever stopped to wonder why so many different folks and traditions around the world celebrate some sort of holy day right around the Winter Solstice.  It's been going on for thousands of years.  If anything the neo-pagans should be screaming to put the fertility symbolism back into the wreath and "Christmas tree."  Count your blessings for the year past and welcome back the warmth of ever slightly longer days.

With all that said, I say here's a toast to happy holidays and a prosperous new year.  Stay tuned.

Yes we did!

On November 4Th, 2008 the United States of America chose a new direction.  With a significant majority the people chose Barak Obama to be our president.  I know there are a few out there who still feel that the world is about to end.  To them I say it's going to be OK.  I say the future of this country is brighter.  I say we all still have much to do.  Barak Obama must still transition into office and then begin the long and arduous task of cleaning up this mess that Mr. Bush and Co. have left for us.  Once clean-up is under way then we rebuild our economy based on clean energy sources.  We can work on a sane health care policy for this country.  We can stand as a beacon of diplomacy in the world again.  On a side note to the diplomacy issue, my mother always tried to teach me that you get more flies with honey than vinegar.  The Republicans made it a campaign issue and tried to sell us another jug of vinegar.

We the people still have a lot of work to do as well.  Barak Obama has shown us how effective the Internet can be in raising money and grassroots support.  He has already set up an official government website for his office of President Elect: http://change.gov.  Many other organizations do mass mailing campaigns where you click on a link to send a clone email in your name.  These are easy to use and be politically active.  If you have a political cause, there is probably a group that works for that cause and would be glad to have your support.  The other way to get involved is to write personal emails to our leaders.  The Us Government has a convenient Internet front door.  Visit http://www.usa.gov/contact/elected.shtml to contact our current leaders.  Follow the simple links until you find your specific representative and send them a letter. Many will send a reply of some sorts to your email.

Barak Obama has shown the power of the Internet.  Make your voice heard.  It is time for our elected representatives to be accountable to us.  It is time for us to speak louder than the lobbyist and special interests.

Yes we did, now we must sustain it.

US election: Barack Obama negotiates 30-minute TV spot with CBS, NBC and Fox | World news | guardian.co.uk

US election: Barack Obama negotiates 30-minute TV spot with CBS, NBC and Fox World news guardian.co.uk

As Barak Obama prepares to sit down and have a talk with the nation, John McCain and Sarah Palin have ramped up the personal attacks even further. Apparently they can't find any real dirt on Obama so they have to make up things to say about him. Please see below a letter I have sent to Sean Hannity at Fox News, as he is one of the worst offenders.

12 October 2008

Mr. Hannity,

Why is it you continue to make slanderous remarks about our next president in regards to his past associations, when you have a hard time admitting your own past associations with Hal Turner a Neo Nazi who is on the Southern Poverty Law Center Hate Watch List. Your slander of Senator Obama is entirely unacceptable to me as a voter as I am sure it is to many others. I would hope that the executives at FOX News are as disgusted by you as I am with your behavior. Your relationship with Mr. Turner is well documented on several websites from what I can see, yet you continue to infer that Senator Obama is a terrorist to your viewers. Enough is enough Mr. Hannity. I would be curious to see what spewed out of your mouth if you weren't so fair and balanced.

The Host of HateHarold C. Turner, 41 NORTH BERGEN, N.J.
Just when some thought that the modern white supremacist movement had adopted the calmer language of scientific racism, along came Hal Turner. A belligerent, foul-mouthed talk show host, Turner is the maestro of radio hate — a man who rants about a "Portable Nigger Lyncher" machine, "faggots," "savage Negro beasts," "bull-dyke lesbians" and "lazy-ass Latinos ... slithering across the border." And that is just the beginning.
According to a profile in his local newspaper, The (Bergen County, N.J.) Record, Turner was born in Jersey City and raised in Ridgefield Park. He served a 10-month stint in the Marines, was honorably discharged, and went to work as a driver and sales manager for a moving company. Later, he sold commercial property. Turner got involved in politics as well, serving as a Republican committeeman in Hudson County, the North Jersey coordinator for white nationalist Pat Buchanan's 1992 presidential campaign, and manager of the 1997 gubernatorial campaign of Libertarian Murray Sabrin.
As early as 1994, he was defending racism, holding a rally for New York radio talk show host Bob Grant, who had been fired from his show for making racist comments about blacks. In the late 1990s, Turner often called in to local radio shows as "Hal from North Bergen," telling their hosts things like, "The problem with police brutality is that cops don't use it enough."
In 2000, Turner sought the local Republican nomination for Congress, and was enraged when GOP leaders instead supported Theresa de Leon, a dark-skinned Hispanic who was the chief financial officer for New York's Legal Aid Society and the mother of 10 children. It was at this moment that Turner had a reported "epiphany," deciding the system was rigged against white men and abandoning all ties to the mainstream.
Not long after, he started up "The Hal Turner Show," renting time on shortwave radio maverick Allan Weiner's WBCQ, located in Monticello, Maine. Building up a substantial audience and paying for the five-nights-a-week, two-hour show with advertising and donations, he became a favorite of many on the radical right, including several in the neo-Nazi National Alliance*.
After neo-Nazi World Church of the Creator* leader Matt Hale was arrested in late 2002 for allegedly soliciting the murder of a federal judge, Turner openly supported Hale. "I don't think killing a federal judge in these circumstances would be wrong," he said, referring to the judge's ruling against Hale's group in a copyright dispute over its name. "It may be illegal, but it wouldn't be wrong."
Early in 2003, Turner told The Record, federal agents from the Secret Service and the U.S. Marshals Service questioned him about statements made on the air. Also in early 2003, Turner joined a neo-Nazi rally held in front of the Southern Poverty Law Center. In June, he was at the Aryan Nations* World Congress in Idaho, where rainy weather prevented his planned outdoor on-site broadcasts.
In recent months, however, Turner has repeatedly told his listeners he was gravely ill and begged for donations to pay his creditors. But he has never said what his disease was, and his many skeptics have noted that his "illness" seems to worsen when bills come due at month's end.

I Might Have Been Wrong!! Bush Might Not Be As Stupid As I Have Given Him Credit For.

"Fascism - A system of government that exercises a dictatorship of the extreme right, typically through the merging of state and business leadership, together with belligerent nationalism."
American Heritage Dictionary, 1983

We will overthrow Parliament in a legal way through legal means. Democracy will be overthrown with the tools of democracy." Adolf Hitler

"All effective propaganda must be limited to a very few points and must harp on these in slogans until the last member of the public understands what you want him to understand." Adolf Hitler

George W. Bush says:

I can't make this stuff up. These are actual quotes of George W. Bush

"You know, one of the hardest parts of my job is to connect Iraq to the war on terror."

"The same folks that are bombing innocent people in Iraq were the ones who attacked us in America on September the 11th."

"My plan reduces the national debt, and fast. So fast, in fact, that economists worry that we're going to run out of debt to retire."

“You can fool some of the people all the time, and those are the ones you want to concentrate on.”

“I am mindful not only of preserving executive powers for myself, but for predecessors as well.”

"A dictatorship would be a heck of a lot easier, there's no question about it.”

“See, in my line of work you got to keep repeating things over and over and over again for the truth to sink in, to kind of catapult the propaganda."

July 24 2007-- Bush Discusses War On Terror with Troops in South Carolina--highlighted official transcript.

___________________________________________________________________

Folks, we are living in very dangerous times. I could continue listing the quotes of Bush for days, but I think we get the point. As we are now in the grips of the worst economic crisis in this country since the Great Depression of my grandparents it seems to me we get a little closer everyday to the goal of this President, and the extreme right.

How many folks know that as of October 1, 2008 the First Brigade of the Third Infantry Division is deployed on American soil, attached to NORTHCOM to control any insurrections and emergencies as decided by the President. The stated mission of this deployment is to use the same crowd control techniques they used in Iraq and to assist with natural and man-made disasters. By this action Mr. Bush has struck down the Posse Comitatus Act of 1878, which was written to limit the law enforcement capacities of American troops on American soil. As with any good legislation there are loop holes. Previous presidents have eroded the act for the purposes of fighting the war on drugs.

Mr. Bush also led the charge to change to the 1807 Insurrection Act to broaden the powers of the president to use military force to put down a loosely defined insurrection. With the Constitution already giving the president the right to temporarily suspend habeus corpus, Mr. Bush's power to label a group of protesters or voters as insurgents is strengthened. Habeus Corpus is the legal principle that keeps the Federal government from arresting people and holding them with out trial. Mr. Bush has clearly shown his disdain for habeus corpus with his actions at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average has had the worst five day period ever in its 112 year history. Members of Congress were apparently threatened with martial law if they failed to vote in the economic bailout plan the first time. This was documented by C-SPAN television and is now widely available on You Tube. The government is effectively nationalizing banks and financial institutions.

Mr. Bush and his cronies have eroded the freedoms and rights we enjoy on this country, and now they are strangling us with insane economic policies. We the People are buying this hook line and sinker. John McCain and Sarah Palin are attacking the "liberal" media in fashion that would have made Hitler proud.

We are being choked slowly by the insane energy policies we have in this country. "Drill, Drill, Drill," is not the answer. We need oil and natural gas to bridge us to the next 10 to 15 years. We must stop giving billions that we don't have to terrorist nations such as Saudi Arabia, whose leaders are close friends of the Bush family.

There is only one solution to all of this. It is "We the People." It is time for us to take control of our country. It is time to vote in new leadership in the White House, and Congress. It is time that we mandate that our leaders return us to our full status as a democracy in the world. It is time to get all of the lobbyist out of Washington. It is time to clean house America.

To all of my Republican friends and family, it is not my wish to alienate anyone with this post. I believe we have all been duped by this. Our founding fathers had the wisdom to build the framework of this country they way they did. The wrote in the Declaration of Independence of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness as rights that all are endowed with.

They wrote the constitution so as to ensure that we have freedom of speech, the right to bear arms, and be protected from unlawful search and seizure. It is our duty to ensure that we maintain these freedoms and protect them for all future generations. It is not about our religion, or our basic political principles. This is about taking back our country from would be dictators.

There are many who will say this is all fanciful conspiracy theory. I hope you are right. My biggest fear right now is that you are not. All I can say is be prepared for the worst, and be prepared to defend this country in the streets if necessary.

The first thing all Americans must do is vote. If you do not vote you are voluntarily giving up your freedom.

39 Days left: More McSame

Greetings all,

I hope you all watched the debate tonight with John McCain and Barak Obama. I thought Obama looked presidential tonight where as McCain looked like the grumpy old man who yells at you to get off his lawn when you were a kid. Anyway I will get into the issues a bit later, but wanted to post my latest video here for you to see. Please enjoy and vote for change in 39 days.

40 days left: What do you want for this country?

Greetings all,

There are only 40 days left until this critical election. The links below are to an exclusive interview Katie Couric did with Sarah Palin. Part one and two are about 15 minutes total, and unfortunately you have to watch approximately 30 seconds of commercials. The excerpt about her foreign policy experience is only about a minute and a half with 30 seconds of commercials.

I am not sure that Palin is qualified to run a wet paper bag in my humble opinion. She has excited the far right wing of the Republican Party, when they were not very excited about John McCain. But that is her best asset in this campaign.

And speaking of John McCain, why is it that he would lie to David Letterman and skip out on his show. His pretense for skipping out was to go to Washington to work on the economic crisis. Turns out he was down the hall doing an interview with Katie Couric. He is also trying to skip out on the debate Friday.

The fact is that John McCain and Sarah Palin are more of the same. We will get more war, more cronyism, more economic trouble, and more scandal. My Republican friends always tell me that if we elect Barak Obama, that he will raise taxes. The truth is we are going to have to pay for the last eight years at some point. We will also have to pay for what the next President does as well.

I don't know about you, but I would rather pay taxes to make sure we have a sane energy policy that involves clean energy technology. Investing now in clean energy improves our economy.

I would rather pay taxes to make sure that every American has quality health care provided to them. The fact is that as a nation we have the highest health care cost of the industrialized nations of the world, while at the same time having the lowest quality health care of those same countries. It is time for health care reform in this country. Investing in health care improves our economy.

I am willing to pay more taxes for rebuilding economy if the cost is less than doing the same things that have gotten us into this mess.

My question to you is this: What are you willing to pay for? Are you willing to pay for these things I have mentioned or are you more interested in paying for failing policies, more war and scandal.

The great thing is that Barak Obama has repeatedly said that he will cut taxes for 95% of Americans. For more information please take time to visit the following link and read the Obama/Biden Blueprint For Change.

Look I know we are all busy and don't have time to read or watch all of the information about the candidates and issues in this election. But it is time for the People to rise to the challenges that are currently facing this nation. The most important thing we can do is vote. In many areas the ballot is extremely long. I recommend voting with a mail in ballot. It will save you time from standing in what are promising to be long lines at the voting booth.

Sarah Palin: At Least She Can Pronounce The Words in Her Speeches.

Sarah Palin is scary. She is not qualified to run the local PTA in Wasilla let alone be vice president of the United States. She is a bully who has managed to find power, and has now rocketed from obscurity to national prominence. She is secretive in her administration as Governor of Alaska, vindictive against political enemies, and uses deceitful tactics to get her way.

It strikes me as odd that John McCain was not running on a platform of change until he found Sarah Palin. Together they are talking about changing Washington, and yet she has not brought the change she promised Alaska. If anything she says one thing in Alaska while burbling something else in the rest of the United States. She supported the Ketchican Gravina Island bridge also known as the bridge to nowhere "In September [20th], 2006, Sarah Palin showed up in Ketchikan on her gubernatorial campaign and said the bridge was essential for the town's prosperity." When this pork barrel spending project became politically untenable she changed her mind and was against it. What I bet most folks don't know is that she still supports another bridge to nowhere near Wasilla Alaska. The Knik arm bridge continues to receive state support. Why is it that Sarah Palin is not talking about this bridge.

If Sarah Palin is all about change why is it that her administration uses personal e-mail to personal devices such as a blackberry so as to not be accountable in their dealings with state business. Sarah and her advisers looked into the legality of circumventing the state email system so that they can do business off the books so to speak. The New York times says it has obtained a dozen emails that show her staff members studied whether that could allow them to circumvent subpoenas seeking public records. Yes she may have kicked out the good ole boy network only to take her piece of the corruption action.

Sarah Palin has used her opportunities as an elected leader to give friends and acquaintances plush jobs that they are not qualified for. As Governor of Alaska she filled a vacancy at the State Division of Agriculture with a former high school classmate. Franci Havemeister cited her childhood love of cows as a qualification for running the agency which has a $2 million dollar budget. Ms. Havemeister was one of at least five high school classmates hired by Sarah Palin to state jobs that often had salaries far exceeding their civilian jobs.

She was all for change when a city attorney in Wasilla shut down a project of one of her campaign supporters. She worked through the city council to get him fired. Sarah Palin fired most of the professional city workers and administrators in Wasilla as Mayor and replaced them with friends and political supporters. When Sarah Palin was elected she promptly fired the city's museum director John Cooper and made the remaining three employees decide which two were going to keep their jobs. She says it was for budget reasons. He says it was because of his political beliefs.

Most folks have heard about troopergate, the investigation about whether Sarah Palin abused her authority in firing the States top trooper for not firing the ex husband of her sister. While the guy she was trying to get fired is loser bound for nowhere, many will find it interesting as they begin to hear about other people fired from civic jobs for personal reasons.

In the summer of 2007 Alaska State Represenative John Harris, who is also the Republican Speaker of the House, answered his phone to hear the voice of Todd Palin. Palin was unhappy that Harris had hired a former classmate of the Palins, who had worked for Sarah Palin, but was fired because he had fallen in love with another long time friend Debbie Richter. Apparently Bitney was fired at the request of Scott Richter, the husband of Debbie Richter. Scott Richter is a long time supporter of Sarah Palin.
The list goes on and on and on...... Sarah Palin is very intelligent and has good political instincts. She knows when to say the right thing even if it doesn't remain consistent with what she has said in the past. She uses her public office and power to peddle influence to supporters. The only change McCain and Palin will bring to Washington will be in the names of the people running the show in a third Bush term.
Please support someone who wil bring real change to Washington. Vote Barak Obama 2008.

** Indian government survives vote **

India's government wins an unruly parliamentary vote of confidence over a controversial civilian nuclear deal with the US.

It is interesting how we deal with different countries in regards to nuclear capacity. We are arguing with North Korea, and threatening Iran, but we are giving nuclear technology to India, while allowing them to keep their nuclear weapons program. What makes this so terrible is that India is thus far being resistant to signing the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty.

It is also interesting that this hasn't been over publicized in this country. I had to read British news to find out. What is the rush to get this deal done and ratified before the election in the United States. What underhandedness is George W. working at now?

It is Time to Deal with China

** China 'is fuelling war in Darfur' **The BBC uncovers the first evidence that China is violating a UN arms embargo by helping Sudan in its conflict in Darfur.

Commentary:

When will our elected leaders, the peoples represenatives step up and deal with China? The Chinese Government should be put on notice that it must be an example in the world or suffer the consequences. We the people must stand up and tell the Chinese Government to be responsible for a better future for the world. It is bad enough that they supply us faulty goods such as toys and pet foods that are dangerous, but now they are a state sponsor of genocide in the Darfur region of Africa.

We the people of the United States of America must stand up and take control of our country. We can do this buy not buying products made in countries that have poor records on trade, human rights, genocide, terrorism, and energy policy. The people of the United States have mass buying power in the world. We have the ability to influence the world with our wallets.

We like to bitch that our companies are sending our jobs overseas, but we buy most of our products from China at that great American company Wal-Mart. It is time to use our purchasing power to tell China that supporting genocide is absolutley wrong. Stop buying Chinese made products. This is the best way to bring jobs back to America.

When possible buy locally or regionally manufactured items. This reduces carbon dioxide levels significantly. This creates local or regional jobs. When we pay a little more for our products, our companies can pay their employees a little better, which trickles back into the economy. And if we must trade with overseas companies in this global age, let us at least support countries and companies where fair wages are paid, and are not supporting world suffering.

This concept requires a leap in thinking. It requires that one see the interconnectedness, and interdependence of all humanzee made systems. When one can see these things they can begin to apply common sense to government. As the humanzee species becomes more interconnected with the internet, we can exert more control over our leaders in all countries of the world including our own. It is the Axe Makers Gift.

We can apply this same purchasing power to energy. Buy a clean energy vehicle and tell our leaders that we do not wish to be involved in the unstable geo-politice of the middle east. By clean energy for your home or business. It is time for the people to use our power to better the world.

This following was a letter I sent to the George W. in April 2006 and reviews my closest friends gave it. I haven't yet read Scott Mclellan's book yet, but I'm looking forward to it. It seems though that if you knew and did nothing then you are accountable. Here it is. Oh and by the way if you read nothing else on this page at least see if you agree with me that the President must have typed the auto reply message personally.

___________________________________________________________________

George W. Bush

1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW

Washington, D.C. 20500

Mr. Bush,

Until today, I have written every president since Reagan except you. It is finally time I said my piece. I am sure, of course, that this will be read only by some minimum wage mail handler who screens your junk mail, as well as the FBI and Secret Service agents who have to review it before filing it appropriately.

I am sure that the founding fathers at Yale would've been proud to have graduated another president from their ranks, if hadn't been for the fact that you are ignorant and poorly spoken.

The state of affairs in any organization including government reflects the abilities of that organizations leadership. It is a sad state of affairs in this country right now and your administration shoulders a lot of that burden. I will not say that your administration is solely to blame for the mess in this country, for congress has become bloated and ineffectual, at serving the people as opposed to their own self interest.

While I agree that it was necessary to remove Saddam Hussein from power, I think your administration planned poorly for both the war and the aftermath. I believe that you are criminally incompetent. You have lied to the American people time and time again. I don't believe that you could effectively occupy a wet paper bag with the policies that are currently in place regarding the occupation of Iraq.

And yet here is talk of doing the same in Iran. Donald Rumsfield is a menace to human civilization. Because you refuse to let Mr. Rumsfield resign and you refuse to fire him this makes you a menace to human civilization by extension. To let this incompetent power-greedy sociopath continue to lead the most sophisticated military organization in the world, you are guilty by association of crimes against humanity. These crimes include torture, degradation that no human being should have to suffer, illegal imprisonment, and unnecessary death to American Service personnel and others in the lands we occupy without proper resources, without proper planning to rebuild them while sharing the great gift of Democracy.

Further aggravating your crimes, Mr. Bush, is the fact that you refuse to defend the borders of this country. Your refuse to implement a sane immigration policy. While jobs are being out-sourced at an alarming rate, your administration is in-sourcing cheap labor and calling it OK. The solution is simple. Close the borders! Tens of millions of illegal immigrants come into this country every year as your administration has looked the other way. Now you have plan that is not only ineffective, it doesn't serve the American people any more than it serves those who immigrate here illegally. Would it not serve the people of both this country and those trying to escape the corruption in their own countries better if economic and policy pressure were applied to the offending governments? You have spoken so ineloquently in the past about spreading the seeds of Democracy around the world. Why not help these oppressed peoples rise above the insanity of their own governments? Of course to you, that most likely means bomb them and then short supply the effort to rebuild their countries and institutions of government while torturing and degrading them as you have done in so many other places around the world. You have called for a work program to allow immigrants to come to this country and take jobs that, "Americans don't want." I know many Americans that would be willing to take these jobs if only they were available. This a crime against your own country and it's rule of law.

Mr. Bush, why is it that you refuse to effectively work towards a sane health care system in this country? I find it ironic that your social security plan has not been discussed since the end of the last presidential election. It makes me nervous that your administration is aggressively pursuing large companies for questionable business practices, yet you refuse to acknowledge the corruption in Washington and your own party.

And the list goes on.... Mr. Bush, I ask you to resign your position as President of the United States. It is my humble opinion that you are not fit to govern the National Society of Village Idiots, let alone this country. I know that you will not acquiesce to this request, for it is good to be king and I don't think you have the cajones or the wisdom to truly understand or undo the damage you have done throughout the world on a daily basis. May the Gods have mercy on your pathetic soul.

I know that I have used some big words in this letter that may exceed your Yale education, so please feel free to contact me and I will try to explain them in simpler terms that your feeble mind can digest. You might also try http://www.dictionary.com/.

Sincerely,

Jeremy

We received a "special legislative update" in the mail today suggesting;

"We must increase our domestic energy production to reduce costs and our dependence on rouge nations for oil. Generation from solar, wind, and bio fuels, as well as nuclear, is important, but we will also need more natural gas. This means opening up the Roan plateau in Colorado, as well as the vast reserves on America's Outer Continental Shelf. We can and must work together to find real solutions to address our energy needs in an environmentally responsible way."

I emailed him suggesting that he and Congress find their fortitude and pass a truly clean energy bill that mandates clean energy and funds clean green technology as an alternative to war over oil. I also asked if this taxpayer funded mailer was made of recycled materials in environmentally friendly manner. Please contact him and let him know that Colorado's Wilderness, or Americas ocean environments are not for sale. He can be reached at Congressman Doug Lamborn, Colorado 5th . Not from Colorado? Visit http://www.usa.gov/, to contact your Representatives in Congress and ask them to protect America's wilderness whether on land or sea from being sold out to feed our unhealthy addiction to prehistoric swamp muck.

A good starting point if you have been in a cave for the last 10-20 years. Green is the way to go not only for the environment, but also to change the Geo-politics of the middle east. Imagine no war over oil.
